Google Most Valuable Global Brands 2009
Mighty Google is number one in the list of the most valuable global brands for 2009, pushing Microsoft to the second spot and Cola-Cola to third place. The Top 10 Most Valuable Global Brands for 2009 are as follow: 1) Google, 2) Microsoft, 3) Coca-Cola, 4) IBM, 5) McDonald, 6) Apple, 7) China Mobile, 8) GE, 9) Vodafone and 10) Marlboro
Millward Brown Optimor has released its highly regarded annual brand ranking BrandZ Top 100 (PDF), which identifies the world’s most valuable global brands as measured by their dollar value.
Topping the list are Internet giant Google, whose brand was valued at a whopping $100 billion, and rival Microsoft which comes in second with a $76.2 billion valuation. The report shows Google’s brand value is up from $86 billion last year (an increase of 16% in value), while Microsoft’s rose only 8% in value over the past year.
