Google PageRank Update for March 2009
The latest Google PageRank (PR) update is around the corner or it is just a rumor. Over the weekend, there are tons and tons of threads in several forums with webmasters and SEOs complaining that their PageRank score in the Google Toolbar took a dive. There are hot threads at DigitalPoint Forums and Google Webmaster Help talking about the ongoing Google PR updates. One thing for sure is that a lot of people are not happy with the new PageRank score they received.
As for BlogTactic, the PR still stands at PR2.
Lots of SEO's (Search Engine Optimizers) have sworn off checking Pagerank and waiting around for updates, but I think we all know that these updates are still very interesting, and the numbers are still a very important part of SEO.
They can give us a peek at what kind of progress we are making with our SEO campaigns in Google, THE most important Search Engine for SEO, since a high ranking in Google is much more valuable than all of the other search engines combined.
Google PageRank (PR) and Back Links (BL) was last updated on 10th January 2009. This time no importance for Reciprocal link Building, sites Page Rank is changed. I think Google changed algorithm again.

Hi,
I've read some blogs about SEO and how to get traffic.
Well, you have to agree with me that they all say pretty much the same and I think that what makes some of them come out from the crowd is creativity.
If everyone will follow the SEO directives, then everyone will rank about the same, right ?
So, what will get you inbound links ?
Creativity and regularly updated relevant content.
Like Matt Cuts keeps saying : it's all about content.

Last night my Page Rank dropped from 4 to 0... makes absolutely no sense at all... :(
Disappointing when I put so much work into where I was at (glitch or not)... hope I don't have to wait another 3 months...
SEO is very difficult especially as the algorithms Google uses change all the time.
A website is measured by it's content, traffic and ages (in my opinion) with inbound links playing an important role in the importance of a website.
I now have 8 websites of my own that rank very well and any new site i create can benefit from this in a matter of days.
The visible PR we see is a summary of what has been happenign in the search engines the month before.
Spend as much time on your website as you can as SEO is an ongoing competitive sport and if you keep changing your tactic, you will loose out on PR.

It looks like google is doing a toolbar page rank update right now 4/1/2009. My page is now pr1 after being online for only 6 months.
Google updated the toolbar page rank again on 2 April 2009.This time they filtered more back links. Previously i have around 70 now i have just 10 back links left for my site http://www.cybex.in. But site rank well on all top keywords. It seems google backlinks scheme updated too. But it still loves article links as i did for my site.
I have seen in seo forums that people are discussing about recent page rank update by google but i have not noticed any changes in my website http://www.otssolutions.com please confirm if any page rank update has been done in month of june
Yes, but its time for next pr update. It is expected that next pr update will occurs in month of October 2009. Hope it will brings good news to website owners.....
Hi, This is great post and thanks for telling us about google updates but I want to know next update I have some new websites and I hope they got pr 3 .
I really like how google had been updating on the rankings of the different sites, in which we will know the value and reliability of a certain topic when it will be competing in google.
Google page rank updates every 3 months.
