Submarines collision in the Atlantic Ocean

Submarines collision in the Atlantic OceanJust a few days ago there was two Satellites collision in space. Now, reports surfaced that two submarines collided in the middle of Atlantic Ocean. The collision happened earlier this month.

The HMS Vanguard, the oldest vessel in Britain's nuclear-armed submarine fleet, and the French Le Triomphant submarine, which was also carrying nuclear missiles, both suffered minor damage in the collision. No crew members were reported injured.

The French military had issued a statement Feb 6. saying that one of its submarines had struck a submerged object _ "probably a container" _ but did not say the Le Triomphant had collided with another vessel.

Britain did not comment on the incident until Monday, after some details were reported by the British media. The defense ministry said the government's usual policy is not to comment on submarine deployments.

Naval experts said they were amazed by the collision. I'll said it pilot error. Incompetent pilots.

I think both submarine pilots are drunk or their sonarmen were dozing. With all the high-tech gadgets installed in the submarines, the equipment failed to detect an object in front of it's other. Talk about first class equipment and second class men.
