Popular posts widget to increase blog traffic

Most blog readers (myself included) always wanted to know what are the popular posts in your blog. I'm adding a popular posts widget on this blog right panel (see Top Posts) to see if the clicks on the popular posts will increased significantly.

As a start, I am using FeedJit Popular Post widget which show Top 10 popular links or posts. I am still evaluating popular post widget with PostRank feed which I discovered last week.

Beside FeedJit and PostRank, you also also want to consider implementing Popular post widget from AideRSS. This widget from AideRSS gives your readers most popular and beloved content of your blog. With this widget you have the option to display your pages popularity based on year, month, week or today. The popularity of this widget is based on the comments,diggs,click through and backlinks.

Anyway, for the time being, I just need a simple Top 10 Popular posts widget like FeedJit.
