Add or submit URL to search engines

So you just launched a new blog and wish for the search engines to drive traffic to your blog. You are also aware that the only way to get the search engines to visit your blog is to be listed in their index. And not content with Google, Yahoo, AltaVista, MSN and Live, you want to submit to more search engines. Many of these other smaller sites will be tomorrow's leaders, so don't neglect all the other engines listed on the page.

Well, below are some more search engines that you can add or submit your new blog URL. It is very important for you to submit individually to the sites below. You might realize that some of the sites charge for inclusion, but the majority do not, so work through the list and get the job done.

Be sure that your blog or website is well constructed, with good meta tags, keyword density and relevant content. It's well worth all the effort!

Here are two advices on adding URLs;
* Don't continually add or submit the same URL over and over to the same search engine.
* Do not submit different versions of the same URL (e.g. http://www.addurl.com, http://addurl.com, http://www.addurl.com/) and always use free ads on classified sites to advertise your URL. Use creative and unique content in the ads, and never spam! I recommend that you go through this entire list and add your new blog URLs.
