Many tiny efforts lead to blogging success
"You have to put in many, many, many tiny efforts that nobody sees or appreciates before you achieve anything worthwhile." - Brian Tracy (1944 - ), Self-help author
What the above means is that, many tiny efforts will lead to blogging success. In short, so long as you are committed to your blog, you will achieve some level of accomplishment.
No blogger achieved success overnight. Certainly you will not make money while you are sleeping. If you are too busy to spare time for your blogs, tiny efforts committed directly or indirectly will also produced positive result.
Take blogging promotion for example, if you can't be online for too long, you can still promote your blog offline. Example of how you can promote your blog offline: giveaway stationery like namecards, pencil, notepad with your blog or website URL on it. Wear T-Shirt with your blog URL on it and mix around with the crowd. Travel in your car with a car sticker at the real window with your blog URL spelled on it.
Compose and send email to friends with your blog URL as the signature at the bottom of your email.
Update your social networking pages such as FaceBook, Twitter once a while. If you happen to publish a new post or article, announced it (with the post URL) at those social networking pages.
Embed your blog URL at your digital photos as a watermark whenever you upload or share your photos.
Don't skip your blog post for too long. If you can't update your on a daily basis, at least post a couple of good articles weekly. Good articles mean that the contents must be unique and beneficial to other visitors or fellow bloggers.
Don't blog on the same topic over and over again. Change topic and come up with fresh subject.
Leave comment on other blogger's blog whenever you read their article. Login to your favourite forum at least one a weekly, post a new topic or comment on existing topic. And make sure your blog URL appeared as your post signature in the forum.
With many of the above (even if it is tiny) practiced constantly, you will gain better blog traffic and improved blog popularity.
