I came across this site about How to Make Money Online for Beginners when I Google about "how to make money". His recently post was about SEO or Search Engine Optimization and how important it is in our effort to make money online.

His posting on "SEO for Google 2009" discussed on the how to get traffic from SEO instead of social traffic from fellow bloggers and friends.

In addition, he elaborate on the importance of SERP or Search Engine Ranking Page instead of other typical ranking such as Google PR, Alexa or RSS.

Below are his 4 Steps to Google Dominance on SERP ranking,

1. Keyword Research

2. Forget Quality Content (No such thing to a machine) - use Relevant Content.

3. On Page Keyword Optimization

4. Develop 1 way Inbound Links to your site.

Target the most popular keywords in your niche, add relevant content, use your main keyword in your URL, Blog Title, Page and Post titles and then spend the rest of your time developing quality inbound links.

With regards to inbound links, he suggested 5 Measurements of Inbound Links

1. The Quantity of inbound links - This is least important but effective for low competition keywords.

2. The Title keywords on the page linking to you.

3. The Anchor Text used in the link pointing to you - You will only rank for the terms others use in their links pointing at your site. This is crucial for gaining top ranking.

4. The Relevance of the content on the page linking to you - The site with the most keyword anchored links coming from relevant content posts/pages will outrank all others.

5. The Quality of the inbound link - The best link you can possibly get is a PR10 link using your main keyword in the anchor coming from within a post relevant to your keyword. The further from this optimum the less quality the link. A few of these quality links will easily have you outranking sites with 1000's of lesser quality links.

So my friends, we all know that contents drive traffic but with proper usage of keywords in SEO technique, you will get even better SERP ranking and better amount of traffic. That equates to better online revenue for your blogging efforts.
