How to choose a good blog name

Before starting your new blog, it pays in the long run to get a good blog name. A good blog name contribute to the success of your blog in in which, readers can easily remember the blog name and feel good about it.

As such, picking a good blog name can be quite challenging because:
1. Your blog name must not be long. Preferably, a one word or two words combination of blog name is good. Longer blog name makes it difficult for readers to remember.

2. Short blog name however is limited especially if you opt to use a free blog host (like BlogSpot.com). When creating a blog account, spent time to check the availability of short name and catchy name.

3. Choose a blog name that is relevant to your blog contents. For example, if you think you are going to blog about soccer, the blog name must be related to soccer. Yet another example: suppose you have a blog name called JohnTravel.BlogSpot.com but you post articles covering the latest electronic gadgets, it would look odds to the readers.

The above simple rules are summarized as your blog name must be easy to remember and your blog name describe your topics.

Of course, you could also ask your buddies to suggest the blog name for you.
